What to Expect When You Enroll

The GCC Virtual Academy is a free, public school program that nurtures compassionate, lifelong learners by building a strong team between students, families, faculty, and community partners to empower every scholar to achieve their full potential.

We are enrolling all grades levels (TK-12th). Your student will be assigned to a teacher within two days of completing the enrollment process.Please click the link to the right to access our flyer on what to expect when you enroll.

For students new to Gateway Community Charters (GCC), please complete an application on the GCC website to enroll in the GCC Virtual Academy.
For students who previously attended a GCC school please complete this Google Form to enroll.

Enrollment for 2024-25 School Year

Thank you for your interest in the GCC Virtual Academy (VA). Please use the links below to apply to the VA. You can either submit the application through the google form or complete the fillable PDF and return it to the school site.

If accepted, new enrollees will need to provide proof of residence, proof of birthdate, and immunization records. The applicant will be disqualified if the application is falsified or if incorrect information is provided. Falsifying any information (including address) will void acceptance. Open Enrollment for 2024-25 School Year

The GCC Virtual Academy held Open Enrollment in March of 2024 and no lottery was needed.

The GCC Virtual Academy Enrollment Lottery Preferences

All TK-12th grade new applicants interested in attending The GCC Virtual Academy must apply.

If a lottery is needed, preference will be given according to the charter specifications which are as follows:

Returning GCC Virtual Academy students
Siblings of returning students who reside within the Twin Rivers Unified School District boundary
Siblings of returning students who reside outside the Twin Rivers Unified School District boundary
Children of GCC Virtual Academy employees who reside within the Twin Rivers Unified School District boundary
Children of GCC Virtual Academy employees who reside outside the Twin Rivers Unified School District boundary
All other applicants who reside within the Twin Rivers Unified School District boundary
All other applicants
